Tamar has been in private practice for 22 years’ and has 20 years’ experience as a school psychologist. She has extensive experience in conducting cognitive (intelligence), educational and attention assessments of children, adolescents and adults.  Tamar understands what interventions and accommodations are feasible for teachers and schools to implement.

The assessment fee includes all of the assessment sessions, a feedback meeting and written report in plain language that parents, teachers and schools can understand and start implementing straight away. Recommendations are provided in the report that are specific to the needs of the client.

Medicare rebates are not available for cognitive and educational assessments, except for assessments of Autism with an appropriate referral.
